Creative Writing Workshop

Join local award-winning poet Caroline Druitt for a fun creative writing workshop at The Ivy House Nunhead.

With creatively challenging and original prompts for all levels, you will be guided through a series of exercises to generate new writing. We will look to the work of other writers for inspiration and discussion. There will be opportunities to share in a relaxing, supportive and nourishing environment.

Led by Caroline Druitt, an award winning poet living in South East London. Her poems have been published by AndOtherPoems, Lucent Dreaming, Anthropocene, The North Magazine and commissioned by Apples and Snakes. In 2023 she was long-listed for the Outspoken prize, shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award and commended in the National Poetry Competition. Her first short play ‘Apricots’ was showcased at Hackney Empire in April 2024.
